Hope all you dads are having a wonderful day. My brother, David Crook, spent his morning at my house poking and prying around my sewer line. Why?

My household emergencies either fall on a holiday, late at night, or on a special day, and today was no exception. I was running the washing machine, and apparently the large gush of water was the last straw for my slowly clogging sewer line. In full rebellion, it backed into both bathrooms, the hallway, and some bedroom carpet.

This was totally different from the time a couple of months ago when one of my toilet's insides broke completely apart and gushed water all over everything. That time, I bent down to turn off the water to the tank, and the handle broke off.

Webgrammar knew where the turnoff switch/thingy was, went outside and turned off the water to the house. Next morning, brother David and brilliant friend Nate fixed everything.

So now I have the washer going to clean up the huge pile of rugs and towels, and the fan going to handle the worst of the carpet.

And I've put a reminder on my calendar six months from now. David will come and run the hose through the sewer line again. There probably is a pine tree root or two growing in there.

Ouchies! If I was there, I would definetly do anything I could to help! Glad to hear though that it is in fact being taken care of in one way or another. I am absolutely praying for your house and its well-being. Know that you are always being taken care of!
